This review article summarizes the development of different kinds of materials that evolved interest in all field of science particularly on new nano-materials which possess both electric and magnetic properties at the nanoscale. Materials of such kind possessing both magnetic and electric properties have tremendous applications and own an intensive research activity. These materials induce new properties which are particularly important in electronic and magnetic devices and even in the materials where magnetic property will change by electric field or vice versa. The discovery of such ferroic properties for scientific applications is the need of hour and spreads an exciting new area that has technical and commercial potential for the discovery of advanced materials. In recent studies, the actual path by which the multiferroic properties exist has been focused and new metal oxide compounds were discovered. The understanding of the structure of these compounds through research describes a wide range of applications and the challenges of these multiferroic materials that need to be explored. In this study, fundamental aspects and structural variations of ternary transition metal oxides have been covered which possess novel properties in storage devices such as hard disk platters and magnetic read heads.

Chitosan (CS) was used as a powerful chelating agent and an excellent template for synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles (NPs). The CS-MgO nanocomposite film was prepared by adding 10%wt of MgO relative to CS and was characterized by different techniques. From the FTIR, some of the main characteristic peaks of CS were shifted due to the interaction with MgO especially with OH and NH2 groups. Also, SEM graphs showed a clear change in the morphological surface of CS. Moreover, XRD pattern shows an improvement in the crystallinity due to incorporation of MgO NPs. The dielectric and optical properties of the nanocomposite film were studied. Moreover, the effect of temperature on the dielectric properties of the hybrid film was studied. The absorption and transmittance were measured for the prepared samples by using UV–VIS spectrophotometer. The optical parameters such as refractive index, absorption coefficient and energy band gap for the CS-MgO nanocomposite were calculated and compared with the pure CS film only.

A green analytical chemistry study attempts to generate environmentally friendly alternatives to dangerous compounds while reducing waste output. The study thoroughly analyzed eight green tools to determine their greenness. Given its importance in treating hallucinations and delusions produced by Parkinson’s disease psychosis, it is critical to have a reliable and precise method for identifying pimavanserin (PVS) in both pure form and pharmaceutical formulations. The current study used a straightforward approach to forced degradation experiments to establish a novel reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography method for evaluating stability. The method was executed on the Agilent Zorbax Eclipse Plus C18 column (100 × 4.6 mm, 3.5 μm particle size) with ultraviolet detection at 226 nm. The Box–Behnken design is the ultimate solution for identifying optimal chromatographic conditions in a timely and efficient manner, with minimal trials required. The study investigated the impact of three factors: acetonitrile ratio, column oven temperature, and flow rate on various responses, namely, retention time, tailing factor, and theoretical plates. Desirability and overlay plots were utilized to forecast the best mobile phase containing a buffer solution: acetonitrile: tetrahydrofuran in a ratio of (65: 20: 15, v/v/v), which proved highly effective in the experiments. Linearity was conducted for PVS in the 3–50 µg·mL −1 range with an R2 coefficient of determination of 0.9997. PVS had detection and quantification limits of 1.1 and 3.5 µg·mL −1 , respectively, indicating a highly significant correlation between the variables studied. PVS’s recovery percentage was determined to be 101.30%. We also used the Six Sigma lean technique to ensure precision and productivity. PVS was tested for acid, base, oxidative hydrolysis, photodegradation, and heat, as per International Council for Harmonisation guidelines. The highest degradation was obtained from oxidative hydrolysis and thermal degradation.
In recent years, nanotechnology has become a considerable research interest in the area of preparation of nanocatalysts based on naturally occurring polysaccharides. Chitosan (CS), as a naturally occurring biodegradable and biocompatible polysaccharide, is successfully utilized as an ideal template for the immobilization of metal oxide nanoparticles. In this study, zinc oxide nanoparticles have been doped within a chitosan matrix at dissimilar weight percentages (5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 wt.% CS/ZnO) and have been fabricated by using a simple solution casting method. The prepared solutions of the nanocomposites were cast in a Petri-dish and were subsequently shaped as a thin film. After that, the structural features of the nanocomposite film have been studied by measuring the FTIR, SEM, and XRD analytical tools. FTIR spectra showed the presence of some changes in the major characteristic peaks of chitosan due to interaction with ZnO nanoparticles. In addition, SEM graphs exhibited dramatic morphology changes on the chitosan surface, which is attributed to the surface adsorption of ZnO molecules. Based on the results of the investigated organic catalytic reactions, the prepared CS/ZnO nanocomposite film (20 wt.%) could be a viable an effective, recyclable, and heterogeneous base catalyst in the synthesis of thiazoles. The results showed that the nanocomposite film is chemically stable and can be collected and reused in the investigated catalytic reactions more than three times without loss of its catalytic activity.
