Iker Laskurain-Iturbe obtained a degree in mechanical engineering in 2008 and a degree in industrial management engineering in 2010 from the University of the Basque Country. In 2015, he obtained his PhD at the University of Girona. He worked from 2008 to 2010 in production and logistics systems for two companies. In 2011, he started working at the University of the Basque Country in the Department of Business Organisation. He has worked on various research projects and published several articles in national and international journals. His research focuses on areas related to the adoption of quality, environmental, and energy-management models, as well as in Industry 4.0 and the circular economy.
