Students’ comprehension of ethical principles and their application in the realm of AI technology play a crucial role in shaping the efficacy and morality of assessment procedures. This study seeks to explore students’ viewpoints on ethical principles within the context of AI-driven assessment activities to illuminate their awareness, attitudes, and practices concerning ethical considerations in educational environments. A systematic review of articles on this topic was conducted using scientometric methods within the Web of Science database. This review identified a research gap in the specialized literature regarding studies that delve into students’ opinions. Subsequently, a questionnaire was administered to students at Transilvania University of Brasov as part of the Information Literacy course. Statistical analysis was performed on the obtained results. Ultimately, students expressed a desire for the Information Culture course to incorporate a module focusing on the ethical use of AI in academic publishing.
In recent years, Romania’s stomatology private practice sector has seen substantial growth, with many dentists fully committing to building and expanding their own practices, often funded by their personal income. This study aimed to explore how various postures affect the muscle groups of dentists (380), particularly focusing on identifying positions that may jeopardize their musculoskeletal health. A group of dentists effectively participated in this study (10), adhering to their regular work routines while wearing wearable sensors on their backs to monitor posture and activity. The data gathered from these sensors were analyzed using the RULA (rapid upper-limb assessment) and REBA (rapid entire-body assessment) tools. The findings indicated that the head and shoulder movements during dental procedures involved considerable and repetitive angular shifts, which could strain the neck and back muscles and heighten the risk of musculoskeletal problems. Additionally, the standing postures adopted by the dentists were associated with an increased risk of postural issues and greater overall fatigue. Extended periods of trunk and head tilting were also identified as contributing factors to posture-related challenges.
In the current time, the development of urban centers is a very complex process in terms of new residential or administrative building locations expansion, but also in terms of design and/or the combination of the constructions with the environment. In the same context, the various transport development, communication or social activities facilities require an important database and an infrastructure to ensure and satisfy the population needs at the highest level. Accordingly, interest has developed in the smart cities (SC) concept creation with connection possibilities over extended geographical areas. This paper addresses a problem related to the preparation and ensuring the development of Brasov city as a smart city, with the possibility of finding solutions for low-vision people’s mobility and opening even more access to the city’s infrastructure. The paper’s main objectives and contributions are represented by the current considerations provision for ensuring functionality as a smart city by identifying the involvement points of the administrative system and, respectively, by introducing technical solutions for the low-vision people inclusion, having their mobility as a central element. The research results reveal the capacity and flexibility of permanent adaptation actions of public administrative and educational/research institutions to different population categories (with or without disabilities, active or retired, etc.) requirements regarding inclusion and mobility.
Th paper describes a low-cost solution forsignificantly increasing the efficiency of color perception testing for visual screening. The target areas are school and preschool children, people taking medical exams, testing in occupational medicine, and military recruitment. The research involved two stages: developing a virtual application for rapid and objective assisted testing of chromatic vision, and effectively testing about 30 subjects, of different social and age categories, for visual screening. We proved not the low cost, but also the high effectiveness of the method. This creates potential for a better way to prevent visual impairments, especially in children.
