Prof. Qian Xiao received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, in 2020, all in electrical engineering. From October 2018 to November 2019, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, at Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He has been an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, since January 2020. His current research interests include multilevel converters, dc/dc converters, and power electronics for distributed generation, microgrids, and HVDC.
