Dr. Marcela E. Mata-Romero is the Head of Research and Extension at the Center for Technical Industrial Education (CETI). He completed his Ph.D. studies in Mechatronics Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering. For over 10 years, he has advised both basic and applied research projects, participating in programs and events sponsored by various agencies such as the Secretary of Public Education, the Secretary of Economy, SMF, COECYTJAL, CANIETI, and CONACYT. His research interests include automation and control systems, with a specialization in the design, development, and maintenance of automated equipment.
