Fernando Nuño received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from the University
of Oviedo, Spain, in 1988 and 1991, respectively.
He is currently a Full Professor of Electronic Technology at the University of Oviedo. His current research interests include switching-mode power supplies, resonant power conversion, high-power and high-voltage power supplies, thermal modeling, the design of magnetic devices and piezoelectric transformers, and the design of digital embedded systems.
