The use of titanium as a biomaterial for the treatment of dental implants has been successful and has become the most viable and common option. However, in the last three decades, new alternatives have emerged, such as polymers that could replace metallic materials. The aim of this research work is to demonstrate the structural effects caused by the fatigue phenomenon and the comparison with polymeric materials that may be biomechanically viable by reducing the stress shielding effect at the bone–implant interface. A numerical simulation was performed using the finite element method. Variables such as Young’s modulus, Poisson’s coefficient, density, yield strength, ultimate strength, and the S-N curve were included. Prior to the simulation, a representative digital model of both a dental implant and the bone was developed. A maximum load of 550 N was applied, and the analysis was considered linear, homogeneous, and isotropic. The results obtained allowed us to observe the mechanical behavior of the dental implant by means of displacements and von Mises forces. They also show the critical areas where the implant tends to fail due to fatigue. Finally, this type of non-destructive analysis proves to be versatile, avoids experimentation on people and/or animals, and reduces costs, and the iteration is unlimited in evaluating various structural parameters (geometry, materials, properties, etc.).

The development of leadership competencies is a current topic in the scientific community. The weaknesses detected in our study reflect the limited treatment offered to this area of work and the current struggle of rural elementary school directors in navigating the challenges of the digital era. The following methods and techniques were used at the theoretical and empirical levels: analytical–synthetic, historical–logical, inductive–deductive, systemic, documentary analysis, observation, surveys, interviews, and self-assessment scales. The systematized theory is based on the process of development of leadership competence in school directors as a dimension of educational quality. This research introduced a professional development strategy for the development of leadership competence in primary school directors consisting of three stages, with their objectives and actions contributing to raising the scientific methodological level of these management teams, including workshops, consultancies, accompaniments, and case studies, as well as monitoring their transformation. The proposed strategy improves the educational leadership skills of school principals, encourages mastery of content, and increases the degree of motivation and interest in management work. It is based on the diagnosis of their reality, and it includes the combination of improvement, methodological, and self-improvement actions to stimulate reflection and the active involvement of participants in their own transformation process.

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) has heightened the need for evidence-based regulatory frameworks to effectively address its legal, ethical, and societal consequences. This research carefully analyzes the prevailing landscape of AI-related legislation in Mexico. The study conducts a comprehensive review of legislative initiatives related to AI regulation submitted to Mexican legislative bodies, encompassing those approved or pending in commissions. This process leads to the identification and categorization of outstanding initiatives across seven policy areas: Congress, Education, Health, Intellectual Property, Justice, AI Promotion, and AI Regulation. As a principal contribution, this work offers the first exhaustive mapping and thematic classification of legislative activity related to AI in Mexico. Furthermore, the analysis identifies systemic regulatory deficiencies, such as the lack of AI-specific legislation, the limited scope of existing data protection laws in relation to AI systems, and an absence of technical provisions concerning ethical design, algorithmic transparency, cybersecurity, and accountability frameworks. By showcasing these deficiencies, the study contributes a diagnostic framework for evaluating AI governance readiness in emerging economies. The findings emphasize the importance of establishing a comprehensive, technically sound, and internationally harmonized regulatory framework to reduce AI-related risks while promoting responsible innovation in Mexico.

The last change in the technical regulations of Formula One that came into force in 2022 brought with it significant changes in the aerodynamics of the vehicle; among these, those made to the front wing stand out since the wing was changed to a more straightforward shape with fewer parts but with no less efficiency. The reduction in its components suggests that if one part were to suffer damage or break down, the efficiency of the entire front wing would be affected; however, from 2022 to date, there have been occasions in which the cars have continued running on the track despite losing some of the endplates. This research seeks to understand the endplates’ impact on the front wing through a series of CFD simulations using the k-ω SST turbulence model. To determine efficiency, the aerodynamic forces generated on the vehicle’s front wing, suspension, and front wheels were compared in two different operating situations using a model with the front wing in good condition and another in which the endplates were removed. The first case study simulated a straight line at a maximum speed where the Downforce is reduced by 2.716% while the Drag and Yaw increase by 7.092% and 96.332%, respectively, when the model does not have endplates. On the other hand, the second case study was the passage through a curve with a decrease of 17.707% in Downforce, 6.532% in Drag, and 22.200% in Yaw.

The soft Bankart lesion is characterized by the abnormal translation of the humeral head during dislocation, which places excessive stress on the labrum and causes it to stretch along with other structures that provide joint stability. This lesion is described as a purely soft tissue injury and occurs due to the detachment of the anteroinferior labroligamentous complex. This research aimed to evaluate the computational biomechanics of a biomodel of the shoulder joint with a soft Bankart lesion during pure abduction using the Finite Element Method (FEM). It evaluates the tissue mechanics of the structures with the lesion, such as ligaments, the articular capsule, and the labrum, which guide and limit the bones of the joint during movement. A healthy shoulder joint biomodel is developed for comparison. The results of stress and strain in the healthy shoulder and the soft Bankart biomodel are analyzed. The results for the soft Bankart biomodel show an increase in stress on the MGHL, with the pIGHL assuming a primary stabilizing role. The CHL and articular capsule limit the excessive displacement of the humeral head.
