This study evaluated the validity and reliability of the TecnoBody D-Wall system in assessing joint range of motion (ROM) during overhead squat movements in healthy individuals, using Kinovea as a reference tool for data comparison. A total of 29 participants (16 males, 13 females) with a mean age of 28.41 ± 6.66 years were included. Measurements were conducted for hip and knee joint angles in the sagittal plane, with three repetitions per participant analyzed using both systems. The D-Wall system employed a 3D Kinect V2 camera and force platform, while Kinovea used 2D video-based motion analysis. The results demonstrated excellent agreement between the two systems, with intra-class correlation coefficients (ICC) ranging from 0.79 to 0.99. For the knee joint, the test-retest ICC values were 0.99 (95% CI: 0.97–0.99) for Kinovea and 0.98 (95% CI: 0.95–0.99) for the D-Wall on the right side, and 0.98 (95% CI: 0.97–0.99) for Kinovea and 0.88 (95% CI: 0.79–0.94) for the D-Wall on the left side. For the hip joint, test-retest ICC values were 0.99 (95% CI: 0.97–0.99) for Kinovea and 0.94 (95% CI: 0.88–0.97) for the D-Wall on the right side, and 0.98 (95% CI: 0.97–0.99) for Kinovea and 0.93 (95% CI: 0.87–0.97) for the D-Wall on the left side. Bland–Altman plots confirmed good agreement, with no significant systematic bias observed. Both systems showed statistically insignificant differences (p > 0.05) between measurements, and correlation values ranged from 0.83 to 0.99, indicating strong associations. These findings highlight the high validity and reliability of both TecnoBody D-Wall and Kinovea systems in measuring joint angles during dynamic movements. The comparable accuracy between systems suggests that either system can be effectively utilized in clinical or research settings, depending on specific needs and resource availability.

The purpose of this study was to compare the physical and physiological features of the traceurs with the gymnastics athletes. The study was carried out with twelve volunteer participants (traceurs=6, gymnastics athletes=6). The mean age of the traceurs was 18.67±1.03 years, 172.67±3.78 cm, body mass 62.5±8.94 kg and BMI was 20.98±2.97; gymnastics athletes was 19.33±1.21 years, 175.83±6.18 cm, body mass 65.17±8.06 kg and BMI was 21.11±2.67. Maximal oxygen utilization levels of traceurs and rhythmic gymnastics athletes were 56.13±3.95 ml/kg/min and 57.18±5.33 ml/kg/min respectively, their Illinois test times were 15.22±.42 sec and 15.33±.22 sec respectively, their vertical jump distances were 47.41±6.05 cm and 46.48±3.37 cm respectively, their vertical jump power values were 7252.7±1142.73 W and 7026.55±427.62 W respectively, their horizontal jump distances were 2.53±.61 m and 2.48±.12 m respectively, and finally, their hamstring flexion angles were determined by using goniometer as the measurement of hamstring flexibility (traceurs = 106.67±4.27o; gymnastics athletes = 121.33±5.36o *), and there was a significant difference between the angles hamstring flexibility of the two groups (*p<0.05). According to the results obtained from the study, it was seen that physical and physiological values obtained from two groups of athletes were very close to each other and no significant difference was observed between these two groups. This similarity can be explained by the fact that the training of these two branches does not differ as structural features. In conclusion, the learning of important performance determinants in athletes, such as aerobic power, flexibility, agility and explosive power, by the coaches and their education in this subject may enable the preparation of a better training program.

Background and Objectives: The infraspinatus muscle is critical for shoulder stability and external rotation, yet achieving selective activation during exercises remains challenging. This study explores the effectiveness of a novel muscle architecture-based position (MABER) compared to traditional exercises in individuals with rounded shoulder posture. Materials and Methods: This prospective, cross-sectional study evaluated the selective activation of the infraspinatus during external rotation exercises in participants with rounded shoulder posture. Thirty-two participants (17 males and 15 females) were recruited. Electromyographic (EMG) activity of the middle trapezius, posterior deltoid, and infraspinatus muscles in the dominant limb was recorded during four exercise positions: standing external rotation (SER), side-lying external rotation (SDER), scapular plane external rotation (SPER), and MABER. Results: MABER produced the highest infraspinatus activity (p < 0.001), while the lowest activity was observed during SPER (p < 0.001). The SER position generated higher posterior deltoid activity compared to other positions (p < 0.001). The SDER position demonstrated the highest infraspinatus/posterior deltoid activity ratio (p < 0.001). Conclusions: The MABER position can be used as an effective exercise to strengthen the infraspinatus muscle. This study contributes to the literature by comparing MABER with traditional exercises and highlights its potential benefits for individuals with rounded shoulder posture.

Virtual reality (VR) is an advanced user-computer interface that includes real-time simulation and interactions through visual and auditory senses. VR is increasingly being used on athletes for assessment and training. Balance refers to maintaining the position of the body's center of gravity. Static and dynamic balance is the basis of postural stability and mobility and is an important skill in sport. Balance impairment increases the risk of falls and is clinically assessed using the Berg Balance Scale. However, more objective methods need to be developed. For this purpose, technologies such as posturography, which measures the center of pressure trajectory, are used. TecnoBody devices play an active role in the assessment and rehabilitation processes. In particular, proprioceptive and stability analyses are performed with ProKin devices, dynamic balance analyses are performed with D-Wall device and audiovisual feedback is provided with exergame. These devices are effective in rehabilitation and can increase patients' interest in treatment. As a result of the studies conducted in the literature review, TecnoBody Prokin has also been used in the field of sports sciences. In the studies conducted with Prokin, it was seen that it was generally used in dynamic and static balance evaluations. However, no studies on TecnoBody's other devices were found in the literature. In addition, in the studies examined, it was seen that TecnoBody devices were used as a evaluation tool instead of being used in exercises. With the advancement of technology, it is thought that TecnoBody devices can be more effective in people through exercise feedback. Keywords: Athlete Balance, Balance, TecnoBody,

The parkour is a physical activity that contains special technique applications and requires a great number of jumps. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 8-week strength training on the jump heights of the traceurs (parkour practitioners). A total of 12 traceurs, including 6 individuals as the control group and 6 individuals as the strength group, were included in the study. The control group was provided with parkour training sessions twice a week, and the other group provided with both strength and parkour training sessions twice a week. Each participant's vertical jumps were recorded with the high-speed camera in the validated My Jump 2 application. The mean age of the traceurs control group was 19±.89 years, 173.67±4.63 cm, body mass 66.5±5.32 kg; experimental group was 19.5±1.05 years, 175.83±8.86 cm, and body mass 67.67±7.20 kg. Also according to the results, it can be said that a significant increase was observed in countermovement jump (CMJ) vertical jump heights (p=0.028) of the study group at the end of the 8-week strength trainings compared to the control group and that the strength training provided a positive contribution to vertical jump heights. On the other hand, there was no significant difference (p=0.075) in the control group. At the same time, the CMJ height values of the participants who performed strength training increased 4.97±0.09%. Learning of the vertical jump heights, which is an important parameter for successful performance in traceurs, can enable the coaches and athletes to prepare a better training program.

It was aimed to examine the acute effects of the use of foam roller models of different densities on hamstring muscle stiffness and flexibility in professional soccer players. Hamstring muscle's stiffness were evaluated using the Myoton Pro device. The flexybility of the hamstring muscle were evaluated using with the unilateral sit-reach test on 21 male professional soccer players who played in Gaziantep Soccer Club at aged 18-40. Athletes were randomly divided into groups of seven to use soft, medium and hard foam rollers. The athletes applied the method consisting of two sets of one minute on the dominant hamstring muscle. Measurements were made twice, before the application (BA) and after the application (AA). The muscle stiffness measurement of the soccer players was determined BA mean of 16.26 N/m and AA mean of 16.17 N/m.. Flexibility measurement was determined BA mean of 28,36 cm and AA mean of 31,05 cm. It was found that the mean of pre-test and post-test did not differ statistically for muscle stiffness (p>0,05) according to measurement times, but statistically differed for flexibility (p 0,05). It shows that foam roller application is important for increasing muscle flexibility, but there is no difference between foam roller models applied at different intensities in terms of removing muscle stiffness and increasing flexibility.
