Prof. Dr. Antonio Zapata

Antonio Jesús Zapata Sierra is a Professor at the University of Almería, in the area of Hydraulic Engineering. He has a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Córdoba (Spain) for his thesis "An erosion model at basin scale". He has published seven books, 25 articles in international journals with relative quality index, and 10 in divulgation journals in the fields of surface hydrology, irrigation systems, and climatology. All these publications are the result of work carried out through his participation in Research Projects (16), Research Contracts (19), of which 10 have been as Principal Investigator.
