Consolación Gil is a Full Professor at the Department of Informatics of the University of Almería, and was previously a lecturer at the University of Murcia. Received Computer Science Engineering (1991), and PhD (1996) degrees. Research stays at the University of Helsinki (Finland), the University of Lille (France), and the University of Algarve (Portugal). Research interests are focused on the fields of renewable energy, network analysis, green computing, and engineering optimization.
