Dr. Dionisis Voglitsis

Dr. Voglitsis is currently working as a Technical Manager and Team lead Supervisor in the European Funded program 101083951- DigiAgriFood. Prior to this role Dr Voglitsis worked as System Supervisor in Sunlight energy Group (2021), where he was responsible for the new development of lithium batteries in the industrial sector, leading a team of five (5.0) engineers. Prior to Sunlight energy Group, Dr. Dionisis was a senior applications engineer at onsemi (2019), where he was responsible for the development and implementation of control algorithms and control schemes for motor control and EV-charging applications. Before joining onsemi, Dionisis worked as a researcher for various European and national research projects, while for one (1.0) year he had also joined the Advanced Technology Center of Philips in The Netherlands. Dr. Voglitsis is the author and co-author of more than 30 research and technical papers in his field, published in high-quality journals (IEEE Transactions and Journals), which have been cited in more than 400 papers. He is also a guest editor for the “Energies” MDPI journal. Dr. Voglitsis holds a Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece (2011), a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands (2013), and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece (2018).
