José M. Maza-Ortega received the Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Seville, Sevilla, Spain, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. Since 1997, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Seville, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His primary areas of interest are power quality, harmonic filters, integration of renewable energies, and power electronics.
