Dr. Fernando Pérez-Rodríguez

I earned my doctorate in Forestry Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2013 and have over 10 years of experience in operations research. My specialty is the development of methodologies and software to assist in decision-making, prototyping, and process automation, all applied to the forestry sector. I hold about 20 intellectual property registrations for software, have over 25 impactful JCR publications, and have contributed to more than 50 national and international conferences. I have accumulated over 5 years of research experience abroad at centers such as IPB-CIMO in Portugal and have conducted research stays at universities like TUM (Germany), UTAD (Portugal), and research centers like JRC (Italy). I am currently the IT development manager at föra forest technologies sll, a company I joined thanks to the Torres Quevedo program in 2018, and I am responsible for the Galicia office.
