Prof. Dr. Luigi Calabrese graduated in Materials Engineering from the University of Messina on March 1998. He received a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials Engineering from the University of Messina in 2000–2002 with an “Analysis of the pultrusion process of composites with CTBN rubber modified epoxy resin”. After that, Prof. Dr. Luigi Calabrese received a post-doc from the University of Messina (until 2007), in “Manufacturing and characterization of new sandwich structures for marine applications”. From December 2008 to 2019, Prof. Dr. Luigi Calabrese was an unconfirmed researcher in the S.D. ING-IND/22 at the Department of Engineering of the University of Messina. He is currently an Associate Professor in Materials Science and Technology. His major research interest is in the field of Materials Science and Technology.
