Dr. Luciane Bresciani Salaroli is an Associate Professor at the
Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). She earned her Bachelor's
degree in Nutrition from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP),
completed her Master's in Public Health (PPGSC-UFES), and obtained her
Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences (PPGCF-UFES). She is currently a
permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Public Health
(PPGSC-UFES) and the Graduate Program in Nutrition and Health (UFES).
Her academic and professional background is distinguished by extensive
experience in population studies, with a focus on the epidemiology of
non-communicable chronic diseases. Her main areas of interest and
research include: health, work, and the environment; obesogenic
environments; abdominal obesity; insulin resistance; diabetes;
hypertension; cardiovascular diseases; oncology; chronic kidney disease;
and dietary intake.
