Dr. Elena Rusu Cigu

Elena CIGU holds a PhD. in Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania. She is currently associate professor at the Department of Finance, Money and Public Administration, within the same faculty. Her area of expertise includes public finance and public administration systems. She performed research and documentaton visits at Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary, 2011), Complutense de Madrid University (Spain, 2011), University of Parma (Italy, 2014), University of Bolton (the United Kingdom, 2018), ), and has experience in international teaching within the Erasmus programme in Cyprus, Croatia, Spain, Lithuania, and Portugal. She authored and co-authored 8 books, along with over 30 articles published in journals indexed in international databases, 51 articles published in conference proceedings, and attended over 66 international conferences.
