Prof. Michele Notarnicola is a full professor of solid waste management and remediation of contaminated sites for the civil and environmental engineering degree courses of Politecnico di Bari. He works in the areas of environmental protection technologies, innovative materials for environmental applications, and the valorization of waste with a view to the circular economy. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, vice president of the board of the Italian Materials Association (AIMAT), and a consultant for public and private companies.
