Yongqiang Ye (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Tongxiang, China. He received B.E. and M.E. degrees from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2004, all in electrical engineering. Since 2009, he has been a Professor with the College of Automation Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. He has authored and coauthored two books and more than 85 journal articles. His current research interests include advanced control of power electronics and electrical machines.
