Honglun Wang is a
researcher at the Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology, Chinese Academy of
Sciences. He graduated from the School of Chemistry, Biology and Physics of
Yantai University in 2001 with a major in biochemistry. He received his
master's and doctoral degrees from the Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology,
Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. He was a visiting scholar at Simon Fraser
University in Canada in 2009. He was a teaching assistant and associate
researcher at the Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology, Chinese Academy of
Sciences. He won the Lu Jiaxi Young Talent Award from the Chinese Academy of
Sciences in 2008 and the President's Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences
in 2006. He is a member of the All-China Youth Federation. He is also a member
of the first Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of
Sciences.
