Breast cancer forms in breast cells and is considered as a very common type of cancer in women. Breast cancer is also a very life-threatening disease of women after lung cancer. A convolutional neural network (CNN) method is proposed in this study to boost the automatic identification of breast cancer by analyzing hostile ductal carcinoma tissue zones in whole-slide images (WSIs). The paper investigates the proposed system that uses various convolutional neural network (CNN) architectures to automatically detect breast cancer, comparing the results with those from machine learning (ML) algorithms. All architectures were guided by a big dataset of about 275,000, 50 × 50-pixel RGB image patches. Validation tests were done for quantitative results using the performance measures for every methodology. The proposed system is found to be successful, achieving results with 87% accuracy, which could reduce human mistakes in the diagnosis process. Moreover, our proposed system achieves accuracy higher than the 78% accuracy of machine learning (ML) algorithms. The proposed system therefore improves accuracy by 9% above results from machine learning (ML) algorithms.

Breast cancer is among the leading causes of mortality for females across the planet. It is essential for the well-being of women to develop early detection and diagnosis techniques. In mammography, focus has contributed to the use of deep learning (DL) models, which have been utilized by radiologists to enhance the needed processes to overcome the shortcomings of human observers. The transfer learning method is being used to distinguish malignant and benign breast cancer by fine-tuning multiple pre-trained models. In this study, we introduce a framework focused on the principle of transfer learning. In addition, a mixture of augmentation strategies were used to prevent overfitting and produce stable outcomes by increasing the number of mammographic images; including several rotation combinations, scaling, and shifting. On the Mammographic Image Analysis Society (MIAS) dataset, the proposed system was evaluated and achieved an accuracy of 89.5% using (residual network-50) ResNet50, and achieved an accuracy of 70% using the Nasnet-Mobile network. The proposed system demonstrated that pre-trained classification networks are significantly more effective and efficient, making them more acceptable for medical imaging, particularly for small training datasets.

The integration of AI and the IoT in education has the potential to revolutionize the way we learn. Personalized learning, real-time feedback and support, and immersive learning experiences are some of the benefits that AI and the IoT can bring to the education system. In this regard, this research paper aims to investigate how AI and the IoT can be integrated into sustainable education in order to provide students with personalized and immersive learning experiences during pandemics, such as COVID-19, for smart cities. The study’s key findings report that AI can be employed in sustainable education through personalized learning. AI-powered algorithms can be used to analyze student data and create personalized learning experiences for each student. This includes providing students with tailored content, assessments, and feedback that align with their unique learning style and pace. Additionally, AI can be used to communicate with students in a more natural and human-like way, making the learning experience more engaging and interactive. Another key aspect of the integration of AI and the IoT in education obtained from this research is the ability to provide real-time feedback and support. IoT-enabled devices, such as smart cameras and microphones, can be used to monitor student engagement and provide real-time feedback. AI algorithms can then use these data to adapt the learning experience in real time. IoT-enabled devices, such as tablets and laptops, can be used to collect and process student work, allowing for the automatic grading of assignments and assessments. Additionally, IoT technology can facilitate remote monitoring and grading of student work, which would be particularly useful for students who cannot attend traditional classroom settings. Furthermore, AI and the IoT can also be used to create intelligent personal learning environments (PLEs) that provide students with personalized, adaptive, and engaging learning experiences. IoT-enabled devices, such as smart cameras and microphones, combined with AI-powered algorithms, can provide real-time feedback and support, allowing the PLE to adapt to the student’s needs and preferences. It is concluded that integrating AI and the IoT in sustainable education can revolutionize the way people learn, providing students with personalized, real-time feedback and support and opening up new opportunities for remote and disadvantaged students. However, it will be important to ensure that the use of AI and the IoT in education is ethical and responsible to ensure that all students have equal access to the benefits of these technologies.

COVID-19 presents an urgent global challenge because of its contagious nature, frequently changing characteristics, and the lack of a vaccine or effective medicines. A model for measuring and preventing the continued spread of COVID-19 is urgently required to provide smart health care services. This requires using advanced intelligent computing such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, cognitive computing, cloud computing, fog computing, and edge computing. This paper proposes a model for predicting COVID-19 using the SIR and machine learning for smart health care and the well-being of the citizens of KSA. Knowing the number of susceptible, infected, and recovered cases each day is critical for mathematical modeling to be able to identify the behavioral effects of the pandemic. It forecasts the situation for the upcoming 700 days. The proposed system predicts whether COVID-19 will spread in the population or die out in the long run. Mathematical analysis and simulation results are presented here as a means to forecast the progress of the outbreak and its possible end for three types of scenarios: “no actions,” “lockdown,” and “new medicines.” The effect of interventions like lockdown and new medicines is compared with the “no actions” scenario. The lockdown case delays the peak point by decreasing the infection and affects the area equality rule of the infected curves. On the other side, new medicines have a significant impact on infected curve by decreasing the number of infected people about time. Available forecast data on COVID-19 using simulations predict that the highest level of cases might occur between 15 and 30 November 2020. Simulation data suggest that the virus might be fully under control only after June 2021. The reproductive rate shows that measures such as government lockdowns and isolation of individuals are not enough to stop the pandemic. This study recommends that authorities should, as soon as possible, apply a strict long-term containment strategy to reduce the epidemic size successfully.

The 5G is expected to revolutionize every sector of life by providing interconnectivity of everything everywhere at high speed. However, massively interconnected devices and fast data transmission will bring the challenge of privacy as well as energy deficiency. In today's fast-paced economy, almost every sector of the economy is dependent on energy resources. On the other hand, the energy sector is mainly dependent on fossil fuels and is constituting about 80% of energy globally. This massive extraction and combustion of fossil fuels lead to a lot of adverse impacts on health, environment, and economy. The newly emerging 5G technology has changed the existing phenomenon of life by connecting everything everywhere using IoT devices. 5G enabled IIoT devices has transformed everything from traditional to smart, e.g. smart city, smart healthcare, smart industry, smart manufacturing etc. However, massive I/O technologies for providing D2D connection has also created the issue of privacy that need to be addressed. Privacy is the fundamental right of every individual. 5G industries and organizations need to preserve it for their stability and competency. Therefore, privacy at all three levels (data, identity and location) need to be maintained. Further, energy optimization is a big challenge that needs to be addressed for leveraging the potential benefits of 5G and 5G aided IIoT. Billions of IIoT devices that are expected to communicate using the 5G network will consume a considerable amount of energy while energy resources are limited. Therefore, energy optimization is a future challenge faced by 5G industries that need to be addressed. To fill these gaps, we have provided a comprehensive framework that will help energy researchers and practitioners in better understanding of 5G aided industry 4.0 infrastructure and energy resource optimization by improving privacy. The proposed framework is evaluated using case studies and mathematical modelling.

Background: Medical diagnosis for skin diseases, including leukemia, early skin cancer, benign neoplasms, and alternative disorders, becomes difficult because of external variations among groups of patients. A research goal is to create a fusion-level deep learning model that improves stability and skin disease classification performance. Methods: The model design merges three convolutional neural networks (CNNs): EfficientNet-B0, EfficientNet-B2, and ResNet50, which operate independently under distinct branches. The neural network model uses its capability to extract detailed features from multiple strong architectures to reach accurate results along with tight classification precision. A fusion mechanism completes its operation by transmitting extracted features to dense and dropout layers for generalization and reduced dimensionality. Analyses for this research utilized the 27,153-image Kaggle Skin Diseases Image Dataset, which distributed testing materials into training (80%), validation (10%), and testing (10%) portions for ten skin disorder classes. Results: Evaluation of the proposed model revealed 99.14% accuracy together with excellent precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Conclusions: The proposed deep learning approach demonstrates strong potential as a starting point for dermatological diagnosis automation since it shows promise for clinical use in skin disease classification.
