Dr. Xiyuan Chen is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Master's Supervisor specializing in navigation instruments, system technology, and optical fiber sensing. He earned his Master’s degree from Hefei University of Technology in 1995 and a Ph.D. in Precision Instruments and Machinery from Southeast University in 1998. Since then, he has been actively researching and teaching in these fields. Dr. Chen has also gained international research experience, including a cooperative visit to the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, under the "Galulho Eurasian Education and Application Development Cooperation Project" (2005–2006), and a fully funded research visit to North Carolina State University, USA, in 2009 through the National Study Abroad Fund.
