Prof. Dr. Agustín Rascón-Chu currently works as a Senior Research Professor at the Research Center for Food and Development (CIAD, AC), Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He earned a Ph.D. in Food Science (Science des Aliments). École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Montpellier (ENSAM), France in 2004, and a Master in Science in Research Center for Food and Development (CIAD, A.C.) in 1998. He owns two Personal Patents: 1. Mexican Patent No. 363115 (MX/2019/7447). 2. Mexican Patent No. 278768. His research direction is Biotechnology and Sustainable Agriculture, and he is interested in Biopolymers, Pectin, Arabinoxylans, Health, Food, Polymers, Biotechnology, Material Characterization, Nanomaterials, Polymeric Materials, Polymerization, Thin Films and Nanotechnology, Materials, Materials Chemistry, and Biochemistry.
