Gustavo Nofuentes Garrido (born in Jaén, Spain, 1967) received a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommu-nications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) in 1993. Then, he com-pleted the doctoral program in PV Solar Energy at the Solar Energy Institute—Instituto de Energía Solar—at the same University, from which he received a PhD in 2001. He was an Associate Professor with Tenure at the University of Jaén (Electronics Engineering and Automation Department) from 2003 to 2019, and has been a Full Professor there since 2019. With a 25+ year experience in PV science & engineering, Prof. Nofuentes has co-authored 36 papers in journals listed in JCR and several book chapters. He has taken part in 25 research projects funded by European, Japanese, Spanish or au-tonomous Andalusian bodies. His fields of research include PV systems engineering, PV spectral issues, and PV module outdoor behavior modelling.
