Dr. Miguel Angel Baltazar-Zamora

Full-time research professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Xalapa, Universidad Veracruzana; head of the research group “Sustainability and Durability of Materials for Civil Infrastructure”, attached to the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Xalapa, Universidad Veracruzana, code UV-CA-458 in PRODEP-SEP; representative of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Xalapa, UV, appearing before the ONNCCE for the elaboration, revision, and modification of the Mexican Standard(s) (NMX) with the “Concrete and Aggregates” working group (2015–2016); taught more than 92 courses for bachelor and postgraduate programs from 2005 to date; participated in over 178 research papers presented at national and international congresses; has a PRODEP Profile (2018-2021) and was a CONACYT project evaluator for the stimulus program for technological innovation in 2017, as well as a reviewer of national and international magazines indexed to CONACYT and JCR; member of the National System of Researchers Level I (2020-2023); twenty-five articles were published in journals indexed to the Journal Citation Report (JCR) and one in the CONACYT Journal Index; three book chapters published; seventeen articles in journals with international arbitration; supervisor of 93 completed theses: 72 degree, 8 specialty, 12 master's, and 1 doctorate; manager of seven theses in process: two degree, one master's, and four doctorate; reviewer and jurist of more than 25 undergraduate and postgraduate theses from 2015 to 2019.
