Currently, I am a Professor at SADA, NUST, Islamabad, Pakistan. I am an architect and urban planner specialising in thermal comfort, indoor environmental quality, planning, housing and building defects. My research focuses on architecture, planning and building engineering in general and thermal comfort and building performance in particular. I have been working on specific topics, including thermal comfort, housing stock characterisation, bioclimatic design principles, energy-efficiency policies and practices, indoor environmental quality, and building performance simulation.
