Dr. Marco Bietresato

Marco Bietresato graduated MSc. in Mechanical Engineering (Uni. of Padova – UniPD), attended a 1-year postgrad course in Vehicle Engineering (Uni. of Modena and Reggio Emilia), and completed a Ph.D. course in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering (UniPD, Faculty of Engineering) and another Ph.D. course in Mechanical Technologies for Agricultural and Forestry Processes (UniPD, Fac. of Agriculture Sciences). He is an Assistant Professor/Senior Researcher/Tenure-track Researcher in Agricultural, Forest and Biosystems Engineering at the Uni. of Udine - UniUD, a Lecturer of Machinery and Equipment for Agrifood Industry at the UniUD and at the Free Uni. of Bolzano (UniBZ), a committee member of the Ph.D. school in Sustainable Energy and Technology at the UniBZ, a Professional Engineer for the Italian Engineers’ Roll, section “A”. He is a regular member of many scientific societies: Sigma Xi (Scientific Research Honour Soc.), ASABE (American Soc. of Agricultural & Biological Engineers), ASME (American Soc. of Mechanical Engineers), AIIA (Italian Soc. for Agricultural Engineering), ATI (Italian Thermotechnical Soc.), AICARR (Italian Soc. for Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration), AISI (Italian Soc. for History of Engineering), SIMAI (Italian Soc. for Applied and Industrial Mathematics). His main research topics are: internal combustion engines for agricultural machines, farm energy systems, biofuels, biolubicants, safety and rollover stability of agric. vehicles.
