Aly Castillo. Chemical engineer (2017, Universidad Simón Bolívar, Venezuela) and Master's degree in chemical research and industrial chemistry (2019, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain). He is currently a predoctoral researcher in Chemical Science and Technology at the Cross-Disciplinary Research Center in Environmental Technologies (CRETUS), Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology of the USC and technical manager of the company I-Grape Laboratory S.L. His research is focused on obtaining, characterizing, and optimizing bioactive extracts from agri-food and aquaculture origins through the implementation of green extractive methods and low energy requirements, as well as the revalorization of agro-industrial waste. He also participates as a researcher in a H2020 project (NeoGiANT, www.neogiant.eu) as a member of the working team. He is the author of several scientific articles in the areas of chemistry, biology and nutrition, with more than 20 contributions in national and international scientific meetings (several of them awarded).
