CAVALCANTE, W. S. S.; SILVA, N. F.; TEIXEIRA, M. B.; CABRAL FILHO, F. R.; NASCIMENTO, P. E. R.; CORRÊA, F. R. EFFICIENCY OF BIOESTIMULANTS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF WATER DEFICIT IN SOYBEAN CULTURE 2 ABSTRACT This work aimed to evaluate the physiological characteristics and grain yield of soybeans submitted to the application of different biostimulants based on macronutrients, micronutrients, amino acids, plant extracts and other substances and natural complexes. The experiment was developed at the Teaching, Research and Extension Farm (FEPE) of UniBRAS - Faculdade Rio Verde, Rio Verde - GO. The experimental design used was randomized blocks with four replications. In the treatments, 5 biostimulants were tested separately: T1) Amino acids; T2) Seaweed Extract; T3) Fulvic acids; T4) Phytohormones; T5) Nutrients and T6) Control. Biometric and physiological variables, the mass of 100 grains and grain yield were evaluated. Biometric and physiological data, the mass of 100 grains and grain yield were subjected to analysis of variance (at 5% probability) and significance cases were subjected to the mean test (Tukey at 5% probability), using the SISVAR® statistical software. The use of biostimulants promoted greater resilience in the water deficit, as well as significant physiological and productivity increases in the soybean culture, in addition to providing greater protection to the plant, showing the efficiency of the use of biostimulants in promoting greater capacity to support a period of water deficit. Keywords: Glycine max; hydrical stress; water potential.

The relevance of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) in the agribusiness is irrefutable because it not only contributes greatly to the development of countries but is also an important source of job creation and income generation. The objective of this study was to evaluate the stalk productivity (SP) and sugar and alcohol yields of plant and ratoon crops of sugarcane (variety IACSP 95-5000) under N and Zn fertigation treatments using a central pivot, in Cerrado Red Latosol soil. The experiment was conducted under field conditions, in the municipality of Jataí, Goiás (GO), Brazil. A randomized block design was used, with a 4 × 5 split-plot arrangement and three replications. The fertilization treatments consisted of four doses of N (0, 60, 120, and 180 kg ha−1) and five doses of Zn (0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, and 10.0 kg ha−1) in plant and ratoon crops. N fertilization treatments, in the form of urea, were divided into three applications from 60 days after planting. Zn fertilization, in the form of Zn sulfate, was applied in a single application. Sugarcane was harvested 330 days after planting. The productivity (SP) was determined by weighing the stalks present in the respective subplots. Sugar and alcohol yields were calculated from the amount of raw sugar determined in the technological analysis. The sugar and alcohol yields of sugarcane (variety IACSP 95-5000) were improved with the fertigation of 180 kg ha−1 of N, in relation to Zn doses. Compared with the control (without N fertigation), sugarcane productivity (plant and ratoon crops) increased by 38.90% and 13.70% when treated with 180 kg ha−1 of N at the Zn dose of 10 kg ha−1. Sugarcane (variety IACSP 95-5000) has productive performance, sugar and alcohol yield, optimized and maximized when fertigated with 10 kg ha−1 of zinc and 180 kg ha−1 of nitrogen.

Maize is one of the most important cereals in the world. It is a crop demanding in nitrogen. Therefore, alternative sources of fertilization bring agronomic, environmental and economic benefits. The objective of this study was to evaluate the biomass and productivity of maize fertigated with wastewater from swine and fish farming in different dilutions. The soil used is classified as Dystroferric Red Latosol, Cerrado phase, with clayey texture. The experimental design used was randomized blocks in 2 × 4 split plots with three replications. The treatments consisted of two sources of wastewater (fish farming and swine farming) diluted with the recommended dose of wastewater + 0, 25, 50 and 75% of its volume in water. The accumulation of dry mass (leaf, stalk and aerial parts) was evaluated at 30, 60, 90 and 110 days after sowing. The evaluation of yield variables (number of grain rows, number of grains per row, grain sizes, grain dry weight, gran yield and harvest index) occurred at 130 days after sowing. The largest accumulation of dry biomass at the end of the maize cycle and evaluated productivity variables were obtained with the application of swine farming wastewater. Wastewater from fish farming applied via an irrigation system without dilution (0%) is the most suitable for obtaining the productivity of corn grains. The two sources of wastewater have the potential to partially replace mineral nitrogen fertilizer in maize.
