The article presents research of the influence of the electromagnetic vortex layer on the structure formation of cement stone during the activation of portland cement, both without additives and with carbon nanotubes modification. It has been shown that the storage of portland cement powders in open air for 60 days after activation in the electromagnetic mill leads to partial carbonization, wherein the role in absorption reducing of the super plasticizer additive is increased since there is more uniformly localization of the additive on the surface of the portland cement particles. The processing of portland cement in the electromagnetic mill leads to the physical activation of portland cement, which is accompanied by an increase in the amount of heat generated by the hydration of portland cement and the rate of hydration. Thus, the rate of hydration of compositions activated in the electromagnetic mill isincreased 1.615 times at the temperature of the thermostat 22 °C; 1.85 times at 40 °C; 2.71 times at 60 °C; 2.3 times at 80 °C. The modification of cement stonewith carbon nanotubes, which was obtained from portland cement activated in an electromagnetic mill, leads to a higher quantity of silicate phase of portland cement (by 12–39%), as confirmed by a decrease in the number of portlandite in these compositions by 8% in comparison with control composition.

The study investigates the influence of a hybrid filler system based on carbon black, silica (SiO2) and shungite from the Bakyrchik deposit on the curing behavior of rubber compounds as well as on the physical–mechanical properties and thermal stability of vulcanizates based on a blend of butadiene-alpha-methylstyrene and isoprene rubbers. The morphology and elemental composition of shungite were examined using SEM-EDS analysis. Thermogravimetric analysis of shungite was also performed. The introduction of shungite led to a decrease in Mooney viscosity and an increase in scorch time. Rubber composites containing 10–20 phr (parts per hundred rubber) of shungite exhibited a satisfactory balance between the processing properties of the rubber compounds and the physical–mechanical properties of the vulcanizates (tensile strength, elongation at break, and rebound resiliency), which makes them promising for practical application. When 10 phr of shungite was added, the tensile strength of the rubber composites after thermal aging remained at the level of the control sample, while the changes in elongation at break, rebound resilience, and hardness were less pronounced than in the control.

This article studies the regularities of changes in the adhesive binding quality in the manufacture of book and magazine products depending on the type of hot-melt binding adhesive and the type of printing paper. The work uses the foreign-made hot-melt adhesives Technomelt Q-2416 and Technomelt Q-3218, as well as the domestic hot-melt adhesive TK-3P, and offset and coated matte paper. The study objects were model adhesive joints in the form of paper–hot-melt adhesive–paper triplexes. The obtained experimental data allow us to quantitatively predict the change in the strength during delamination of adhesive joints under study depending on the pressing force’s magnitude during gluing. Their resistance to thermal aging and exposure to low temperatures, as well as the elasticity of corresponding adhesive films, are studied. It was found that in terms of gluing strength of the named types of paper, the domestic hot-melt adhesive TK-3P surpasses the imported hot-melt adhesive Technomelt Q-3218, while being inferior to the imported hot-melt adhesive Technomelt Q-2416. Sufficient elasticity and weather resistance were revealed for all the hot-melt adhesives studied.
