In the current global context, characterized by increasing competitiveness and dynamism, entrepreneurship has emerged as a fundamental driver of economic development and job creation. This study aims to compare the levels of entrepreneurial competence and intention among fifth-year high school students in Chepén and Pacasmayo, Peru, as well as to identify the key entrepreneurial competencies that significantly influence entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, it seeks to examine the moderating roles of self-assessed entrepreneurial capabilities and perceived risk in starting a business on the relationship between competencies and entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, it seeks to examine the moderating role of self-assessment of entrepreneurial capabilities and the perception of risk in starting a business in the relationship between competencies and entrepreneurial intention. The study is based on Ajzen’s theory of planned behavior. The sample included 305 students, divided between 205 from Chepén and 100 from Pacasmayo, who participated in a structured survey. The results of the structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis revealed that creativity, risk-taking, and initiative significantly influence students’ entrepreneurial intentions. However, competencies such as problem solving, networking, achievement orientation, teamwork, and autonomy did not show significant relationships with entrepreneurial intention. Moreover, neither the self-assessment of entrepreneurial capability nor the perception of the risk of starting a business had significant moderating effects on the relationship between entrepreneurial competence and intention. The discussion highlights that these findings contribute to understanding the psychological mechanisms underlying the formation of entrepreneurial intentions among high school students and offer valuable guidance for designing educational programs that enhance key entrepreneurial competencies. In conclusion, this study represents a significant advancement in comprehending the role of entrepreneurial competencies in shaping entrepreneurial intentions among secondary school students and opens new avenues for future research in this field.

Entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role in sustainable economic development, particularly in the field of industrial engineering. This study analyzes the determinants of sustainable entrepreneurial intention among students from public and private universities in Peru. A quantitative, non-experimental, and cross-sectional methodology was employed, using structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the causal relationships between entrepreneurial intention and its key determinants: attitude, subjective aspects, perceived behavioral control, advantages, and obstacles. The sample consisted of 200 students from public and private universities. The results indicate that attitude towards entrepreneurship and perceived advantages are significant predictors of entrepreneurial intention in both university types. However, perceived behavioral control showed a significant effect only among private university students, suggesting that institutional resources may influence entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The study also identified differences in the perception of advantages and obstacles between the two groups. The findings underscore the need for tailored educational interventions to foster entrepreneurship, considering institutional contexts. These results contribute to understanding how sustainability-driven entrepreneurship education can enhance entrepreneurial potential, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to quality education (SDG 4), economic growth (SDG 8), and innovation (SDG 9).

Energy sustainability is a key strategic focus of organizations in the transition to renewable energy sources. This study conducted a systematic review of the literature published between 2020 and 2024 to identify energy sustainability strategies at the organizational level that optimize energy efficiency and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Academic databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science were consulted, selecting 50 high-impact articles using inclusion criteria related to thematic relevance, timeliness, and methodological rigor. The results showed that digitization, circular economy, and technological innovation are fundamental pillars in energy sustainability. However, significant barriers, such as financial and regulatory restrictions, were identified that hinder the adoption of these strategies. Similarly, the integration of smart technologies and sustainable management models favors the optimization of energy consumption and compliance with environmental regulations. In conclusion, the implementation of these strategies not only contributes to the mitigation of climate change but also improves the operational efficiency of organizations for the formulation of public policies and the possibility of opening new lines of research in energy sustainability.

This study examines the relationships among telework, job satisfaction, and quality of work life among employees in the Peruvian public sector, specifically at the National University Pedro Ruiz Gallo in Lambayeque. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory scope and a nonexperimental cross-sectional design, data were collected from 194 employees through a structured questionnaire. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to analyze the relationships between variables. The results reveal a positive impact of telework on both job satisfaction (β = 0.389, p < 0.001) and quality of work life (β = 0.323, p < 0.001). Job satisfaction was found to mediate the relationship between telework and quality of work life (β = 0.425, p < 0.001). Additionally, years of work experience negatively moderated the relationship between telework and job satisfaction (β = −0.114, p = 0.017), whereas gender had a positive moderating effect (β = 0.275, p = 0.016). These findings contribute to the understanding of telework dynamics in the public sector and offer valuable insights for tailoring telework policies to maximize employee well-being and organizational effectiveness.

Currently, the design and implementation of digital marketing strategy has become relevant in the organizational dynamics, affecting the level of sales; and, therefore, in better economic results, growth and positioning of a business. Therefore, this research aimed to determine how digital marketing strategies will improve the sales level of a commercial company in Peru, comparing the periods 2020 and 2021. An applied, experimental design and cross-sectional research was conducted; an ordinal measurement scale was used for the digital marketing variable and the ratio was applied for the sales variable. The population and sample consisted of 167 customers, and the simple random probability method was used for sampling. A questionnaire and a documentary analysis guide were used to collect the information, respectively. Validity was evaluated by the judgment of specialists and reliability was identified through Cronbach's alpha, whose data were analyzed and processed in the SPSS V 25 program, obtaining a value of 0.850 for digital marketing. The correlation of the variables was determined through the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test. It was concluded that, by applying digital marketing strategies, the level of sales in a commercial company-Peru was improved, according to the independent samples test the p value is less than 0.05, so the null hypothesis is rejected. For, in the year 2021 a total sale of S/. 498,515.00 was obtained, as opposed to the year 2020 with a total of S/. 332,520.00; which represented an increase with respect to the previous year of S/. 165,995.00 soles. Likewise, it was concluded that the use of digital marketing strategies (4F) is regular in the company and that the indicators with greater emphasis are: functionality and loyalty with 90%, feedback 87% and flow 77%; the same that are of vital importance to increase the sales of this organization.

This study analyzes the key factors that determine the sustainability of women-led social enterprises in the Peruvian context via structural equation modeling (SEM). This research is based on a random sample of 521 social entrepreneurs and explores the influence of current employment, type of entrepreneurship, and years of entrepreneurial experience on social entrepreneurship potential. The results show that the current employment of women entrepreneurs significantly influences their social entrepreneurship potential (β = 0.383, p = 0.000), whereas the type of entrepreneurship (β = 0.653, p = 0.026) and years of experience (β = 0.269, p = 0.004) act as moderating variables in this relationship. Additionally, comparison tests revealed significant differences in social entrepreneurship potential according to age (p = 0.000), years of entrepreneurial experience (p = 0.000), and employment status (p = 0.000). Pairwise comparisons revealed that women aged 30 years or older had greater potential for social entrepreneurship than did those under 22 years (p = 0.001) and those aged 23–29 years (p = 0.006). Similarly, entrepreneurs with 6 or more years of experience presented greater potential than those with less than 3 years of experience (p = 0.000). These findings highlight the importance of considering employment status, type of entrepreneurship, prior experience, and age differences when designing policies and support programs for women’s social entrepreneurship. This study contributes to understanding the factors that influence the sustainability of women-led social enterprises and provides recommendations for future research, such as expanding the SEM, replicating it in different contexts, and complementing it with qualitative approaches.
