In the face of environmental degradation, social inequality, and technological change—acknowledged as defining challenges of the 21st century—Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) lead educational innovation, integrate sustainability as a transformative axis, and act as key actors in global responses. This study develops and validates a conceptual model that advances the goals of Society 5.0 through the integration of sustainability-oriented STEAM education and AI ethics as strategic drivers of a human-centered, socially inclusive, and technologically relevant learning ecosystem. The model rests on multidisciplinary and project-based learning and active engagement with society and industry. Its validation followed a Design Science Research approach supported by expert interviews, the Sustainable Classroom implementation, and international benchmarking with higher education cases from Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Australia, Uruguay, and the European Union. The combination of the constant comparison method of grounded theory with abductive reasoning ensured theoretical coherence and practical consistency. Triangulation across interviews, classroom implementation, and international cases reinforced robustness, while theoretical saturation, cross-validation, and reflexive safeguards strengthened credibility, controlled bias, and secured data management. Findings confirm that the ethical integration of advanced technologies strengthens citizenship, ecological literacy, and institutional innovation, and establishes a replicable and scalable framework that reorients higher education toward sustainability, ethics, and digital equity, positioning it as a cornerstone of education for Society 5.0 and as a global benchmark for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Electromobility has been crucial in mitigating transport emissions and meeting reduction targets. From this context, this literature review’s main objective is to analyze the resilience of the electromobility supply chain that integrates renewable energy sources. This literature review focuses on the resilience of the electromobility supply chain and how it can incorporate renewable energy sources. The central argument is that the success of the supply chain depends on its ability to resist, adapt, and recover from disruptions that affect operations. We comprehensively review current knowledge in three stages: identifying critical components of resilience, highlighting challenges and opportunities for risk mitigation, establishing strategic alliances, and synthesizing vital issues, trends, and emerging areas that require further research. The findings emphasize the importance of improving supply chain resilience for sustainable transportation and environmental preservation under five guidelines: emergency preparedness, monitoring and evaluation, sustainable practices, maintenance of essential services, and prevention of operational disruptions.

The objective of this study was to contemplate the role of critical environmental education in Latin America from a socio-environmental perspective and explore how environmental problems associated with justice in territories and communities face the dynamics of the complexity of the effects of climate change. They modify the economic and social dynamics that little by little strip communities of their identity and deepen inequality. Selection and recovery of the articles in the bibliographic review, published between 2018 and 2022, used to determine the state of the question were carried out with the search chain integrated by the following keywords: critical environmental education, territory, and social innovation, which make up an analysis carried out using hermeneutic phenomenology from a socio-environmental perspective. The main finding is that critical environmental education in Latin America reveals historical distortions, forms of colonization, and modes of production associated with the exploitation of nature that deepen extreme poverty. On the other hand, the region’s contradictions contribute to understanding the territory and identifying processes of social innovation that favor community life, recognizing new ways of being and living together in Latin America, whose cultural dimension and belonging follow the logic governed by the principles of binomial biodiversity and economy.

Objectives: The objectives of this paper are two, the first one is to describe the impact caused in the population by the informal transportation service in Cuautepec, Mexico City and the second one is to know the opinion of the user’s concerning security and other topics of interest regarding the informal transport. Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework is related to public transportation services especially those that are considered informal and have the same conditions as the study area to have a better comprehension and sustain the information given. Method: The methodology consisted of field work visiting the area, observing the system procedure and then, conduct a survey among users to know particular information regarding the transportation service. Results and conclusion: This paper shows that despite the negative impact that this activity causes in the area and the welfare of the inhabitants, this service is still being used as a solution for the lack of any other transportation mean that can operate in the geographic conditions of the area of Cuautepec. Implications of the research: The main contribution of this work is scientifically point out the problems generated by a solution to the demand for transportation in areas with few supply options that brings negative social impacts. Originality/Value: This work contributes to scientific knowledge about the social impacts of an activity that has emerged as an alternative to a lack of transport services that can be used not only for future comparisons, but also as future references on different means of transport supply.
