Mihaela Badea is an Associate Professor in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Bucharest. Before her current role, she was a chemist at the Institutul de Fizica si Tehnologia Aparatelor du Radiatii–IFA Magurele. She received her Bachelor's degree and completed her specialization in Physical Chemistry at Bucharest Polytechnic Institute. Then, she obtained her Ph.D. at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Bucharest. She is also a member of the Romanian Chemistry Society, the International Confederation for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (ICTAC), and the Central and Eastern European Committee for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (CEEC-TAC). Her main interest is the synthesis and characterization of biologically active complexes, with data concerning this topic being published in 126 papers.
