Heng-Tung (Becker) Hsu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering from the National Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1993 and 1995, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park, MD, USA, in 2002. Upon graduation, Dr. Hsu was appointed as the Director of Engineering at AMCOM Communications, USA, and was mainly in charge of the design and development of monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMIC) for wireless communication systems. He has successfully converted several theoretical circuit designs into real products for mass production and has gained extensive practical experience in RFIC industry. Dr. Hsu joined Yuan Ze University (YZU), Taiwan, in 2006 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010. Since 2015, he joined the International College of Semiconductor Technology in National Chiao Tung University as an Associate Professor. His research interests include the design and implementation of RF front-ends, antennas, active and passive microwave components, and RF packaging.
Dr. Hsu is the Senior Member of IEEE. He is also the recipient of the 2011 Young Scholar Research Award in YZU and the 2012 Y. Z. Hsu Outstanding Professor Award.
