Maher Assaad received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IC design) from the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, U.K., in 2009. He was a senior lecturer of Electrical Engineering at the University Technology of PETRONAS, Malaysia, and an associate professor of Electronic and Communication Engineering at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. He is currently an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ajman University, UAE. His research interests include designing and modelling circuits and systems for sensing and communication applications.
