Gabriel Garcia-Rojas was born in Logroño, Spain. He received the B.S. in electronic engineering from the Universidad de la Rioja, Logroño, Spain, in 2012, and the M.S. degree in electronic engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2015.
From 2015 to 2021, he worked as an electronics engineer for Sakma Electronica Industrial. In 2021, he joined the Power Electronics Research Group (GREP) at UPC, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. His research interests include multilevel converters for dc–dc conversion applications, power conversion in electric vehicles, and hybrid battery systems.
