Karel Dušek was appointed Professor in 2023 in the field of Electrical Technology and Materials. His professional activity is closely related to lead-free soldering and material properties in this area. In 2008, he received an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrotechnology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU in Prague), Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently the Head of the Department of Electrotechnology, CTU in Prague. His current research interests include PCB, manufacturing reliability, the reliability of electronics devices, properties of solder alloys, and soldering processes in electronics. He authored more than 100 articles in these fields of interest.
