Dr. Filip Górski

Filip Górski, DSc, PhD, BEng, is an assistant professor at Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He finished his PhD in 2013 in area of studying and simulating strength properties of products manufactured by additive manufacturing technologies. He finished his DSc (habilitation) in 2020, in area of building open virtual reality applications applied in mechanical engineering for design and training. He specializes in Virtual Reality in industrial applications, 3D printing technologies, CAD/CAM/CAE systems and Reverse Engineering techniques, as well as biomedical engineering - mostly 3D printing of artificial body parts or orthopedic supplies. He is an author of almost 50 publications, including 3 books. He is also an author of several software solutions implemented in industrial companies. He participated in many research projects, also as a manager, including R&D projects realized in cooperation with industrial companies.
