Social media has evolved at a rapid pace, influencing every aspect of the global community. The purpose of this paper is to use bibliometric analysis tools to evaluate valid works on the relationship between social media and information sharing. A review study of research papers on social media and information sharing published between 2009 and 2020 was conducted. The bibliometric analysis identified the following characteristics: (1) the primary articles are based on information sharing through social media; (2) the main authors deal with information sharing in social media; (3) the newestrend topics related to information sharing in social media are demographic characteristics, cognition, sentiment, healthcare, products and services recommendations, tourist recommendations, and COVID-19. The results show significant impact rates in studies of information sharing in social media. Overall, this study serves as a basis for new scientific questions that will contribute to the further development of this research field.
The global spread and use of the internet and mobile phones has contributed to the development of digital payments. Despite its growth potential, until now there is a lack of research providing a comprehensive synthesis and analysis of factors affecting the use, adoption, and acceptance of digital payment methods. This study aims to address this gap by providing a comprehensive review of the related literature retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science databases. Following a systematic method, a final sample of 193 research articles was identified and analysed. The results highlight that a single theory has failed to comprehensively explain the complex nature of electronic payment adoption. The key limitation of the existing theories is their inability to consider the role of social and cultural facets in the adoption of new technology. While literature reviews are a widespread practice in business studies, there are scant reviews that use the systematic review methodology that aggregates knowledge using clearly defined processes and criteria. This is the first systematic review on electronic payment adoption, which structures the existing knowledge and provides directions for future research.
Despite the advancement in neuroimaging tools, studies about using neuroimaging tools to study the impact of advertising on brain regions and processes are scant and remain unclear in academic literature. In this article, we have followed a literature review methodology and a bibliometric analysis to select empirical and review papers that employed neuroimaging tools in advertising campaigns and to understand the global research trends in the neuromarketing domain. We extracted and analyzed sixty-three articles from the Web of Science database to answer our study questions. We found four common neuroimaging techniques employed in advertising research. We also found that the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC), the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex play a vital role in decision-making processes. The OFC is linked to positive valence, and the lateral OFC and left dorsal anterior insula related in negative valence. In addition, the thalamus and primary visual area associated with the bottom-up attention system, whereas the top-down attention system connected to the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, parietal cortex, and primary visual areas. For memory, the hippocampus is responsible for generating and processing memories. We hope that this study provides valuable insights about the main brain regions and processes of interest for advertising.
The aim of this study is to synthesize the rapidly increasing literature on privacy and security risk of digital payment. By reviewing 591 studies, the literature on this topic was evaluated using a bibliographical approach to highlight the intellectual development of the field and recommend potential research directions in this still-emerging field. According to our assessment, academics have continued to focus on perceived privacy and security, while more multigroup analyses based on subdimensions of risk are needed. In addition, the vast majority of studies have not considered the inter-relationship between risk attributes. We analyse the potential causes of the lack of research diversity and provide additional suggestions to improve digital payment research in the future. This study will be valuable for academics, analysts, regulators, practitioners, and investors.
This study investigated the role of Carbon disclosure on firm performance while considering the moderating role of management environmental training as it enhances the mechanisms of governance and monitoring practices. The data was collected from eleven European countries and listed in the Reuters Eikon database from 2016 to 2021. The Hausman test is used to test the usage of the panel method (panel data) with fixed and random effects. The results are the following: The management’s environmental training played a moderating role in carbon emission disclosure, resulting in better firm performance. This means that management environmental training would play a vital role in addressing such disclosure issues and being prepared to formulate better measurements to tackle their effects. Our study is one of the few that analyzes how the moderating role of management environmental training in carbon emission disclosure results in better firm performance.

The technology acceptance model (TAM) has long-term implications for management studies. However, the evolution of the literature on technology acceptance ideas received very little attention in the bibliographic review. Few research reviews provided a systematic overview of the development and progress of the TAM literature based on the entire citation network, while many research reviews focused on re-examining the links between TAM components through meta-analysis. This study investigates: a) how TAM research has evolved and expanded over the last 30 years; b) the main areas in which the TAM model has been used; and c) key contributors to TAM research and their collaborations. This bibliometric analysis was carried out based on 8207 papers published in the Scopus database between 1990 and 2020 to assess the feasibility of the model and its applicability. The findings revealed that early TAM research was conducted both by Eastern and Western scholars and that it has since continued to evolve and be shared widely. Nonetheless, most TAM publications have focused on the same narrow domains of computer science, social science, business, management, and accounting and the trendiest topics were usefulness, trust, ease of use, e-learning, adoption, e-commerce, and social media.
