Fabrizio Cutolo completed B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2006, and a Ph.D. degree in Translational Medicine at the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2015. He is a post-graduate research associate at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, Italy.
His research interests are in developing and evaluating new mixed-reality solutions for image-guided surgery and surgical simulation, machine-vision applications for healthcare and industrial application, visual perception, multi-modal tracking, as well as human–machine interfaces for rehabilitation and surgery. He has been involved in several national and international research projects.
