Carlos Antonio da Silva Junior is an Associate professor III at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT). He obtained his Master's Degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute for Space Research, Brazil in 2013 and his Ph.D. in Agronomy from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá in 2015. He is an ad hoc reviewer of scientific journals, such as Land Use Policy, Agronomy Journal, Land Degradation & Development, Remote Sensing Letters, GIScience and Remote Sensing, International Journal of Applied Earth Observations and Geoinformation, and Scientific Data (Nature). He serves as Editor of the scientific journals, Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment (Elsevier), Frontiers in Climate (Frontiers), Big Earth Data (Taylor & Francis), Sustainability and Remote Sensing (MDPI).
