Ridha Ghayoula earned his Dipl. Eng. in Electrical Engineering in 2002, followed by an M.Sc. in Analysis and Digital Processing of Electronic Systems in 2005, and a Ph.D. in 2008, all from Tunis El-Manar University, Tunisia. From 2004 to 2012, he was a Graduate Researcher with the High Frequency Electronic Circuits and Systems Research Unit. Since 2009, he has been an academic at the Higher Institute of Computer Science of El Manar, Tunisia, serving as an Assistant Professor until 2014 and as an Associate Professor from 2014 to 2015. In 2012, Dr. Ghayoula joined Laval University, Quebec, as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering's LRTS laboratory. He has extensive industrial experience in Canada, including roles as an FPGA designer with Aerostar R&D (2014), Doric Lenses Inc. (2017), Telops Inc. (2018), and M2S Electronics (2019). Since 2021, he has held the position of cybersecurity architect at the Ministry of Cybersecurity and Digital in Québec, Canada. Additionally, since January 2023, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Moncton, New Brunswick. Dr. Ghayoula's research focuses on software engineering, FPGA, softcore processors, modeling and simulation, TDOA, DOA, phased arrays, smart antennas, direction finding, radio-communication systems, neural network applications in antennas, adaptive arrays, and microwave circuit design. He has published over 100 papers in journals and conferences on smart antenn
