Hyoung-Kyu Song received BS, MS, and PhD degrees in electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1990, 1992, and 1996, respectively. From 1996 to 2000, he was a managerial engineer at the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI), Korea. Since 2000, he has been a professor at the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at Sejong University, Seoul, Korea. His research interests include digital and data communications, information theory, and their applications, with an emphasis on mobile communications.
