Dr. Jorge Marcos Acevedo received an Industrial Engineer degrees at the University of País Vasco and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Vigo in 1994.
He worked from 1983 to 1988 as an Instrumentation Engineer in the Maintenance Department of a company. From 1988, he has been an Associate Professor and Researcher in the Electronic Technology Department at the University of Vigo. His research areas are RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) of electronics devices and electronic systems, electronic sensors, E-Learning, Innovative Education, and Assets Management.
