Tan-Hsu Tan received a B.S. degree from the National Taiwan Institute of Technology and an M.S. degree from the National Tsing Hua University in 1983 and 1988, respectively, both in electrical engineering, and a Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1998. Since 1988, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests are wireless communications, telecare, machine learning, and optimization algorithms.
