Introduction: This article aims to discuss the physico-chemical features of the agglomeration process of phosphorus fines using phosphate-siliceous shales and oil sludge. Methods: The composition and structure of the starting materials and physico-chemical transformations under thermal influence are studied using IR spectrometry and differential thermal analysis methods. Results: The results of IR spectrometric analysis of the phosphate siliceous shales are characterized by intense peaks at 493.78, 547.78, and 678.94 cm-1, corresponding to Ca-O-P compounds. Moreover, the wave oscillations in the region of 837.11-995.27 cm-1 indicate the characteristics of Si-O valence bonds, and in the region of 1114.86-1431 cm-1 depict the characteristics of Si-O-Al compounds. The IR spectrum of oil sludge is characterized by the presence of wave oscillations in the region of 1411.89-2904.80 cm-1 corresponding to petroleum components. Conclusion: The differential thermal analysis of the investigated sample of phosphate-siliceous shale does not have intense endo- and exo-effects, and it is characterized by a significant predominance of hydrate compounds of aluminosilicate and carbonate components.

Kazakhstan is embarking on a fresh approach to managing waste, aiming to recycle and repurpose solid household waste while integrating innovative, eco-friendly technologies for its treatment and disposal. The main goal is to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and instead convert it into more stable forms, lessening its harmful impact on the environment. This effort requires a comprehensive strategy, especially as existing landfills still need to be managed and rehabilitated when they reach capacity. It is essential to use municipal solid waste as a resource for producing various goods, which not only helps in landfill management but also aligns with principles of sustainability. This approach aligns with circular economic principles and helps to reduce the technological impact of landfills on the surrounding environment. The main types of waste in the Aktas landfill were identified as a result of this research: it is glass, of which only 3% is recycled. In our results, the setup allowed for the extraction of valuable components from the fine fraction, which can then be recycled. This enriches the organic material ready for composting (organo-mineral raw material mixture) with food waste.

This study presents the results of an investigation into the physicochemical properties of oil sludge, its organic fraction, and PN-6sh oil. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy were used for analysis. Based on the physico-mechanical testing of oil sludge samples from PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, it was determined that the composition of the oil sludge includes organic compounds, solid inorganic components, and water. The main portion of the organic fraction of the oil sludge consists of paraffins and asphalt-resin substances. The presence of organic compounds in the oil sludge suggests a plasticizing effect when the organic fraction is introduced into rubber mixtures. The results of the physicochemical analysis of oil sludge, its organic fraction, and PN-6sh oil indicate the feasibility of replacing PN-6sh oil with the organic fraction of oil sludge in rubber formulations, offering economically efficient approaches to the production of rubber materials. As part of the research, a rubber mixture was developed for manufacturing rubber seals for water traps using the organic fraction of oil sludge as a substitute for PN-6sh oil. The developed mixtures demonstrated satisfactory physical and mechanical characteristics. It was established that the organic fraction of oil sludge can be used in doses ranging from 2.0 to 6.0 parts by weight in elastomer compositions based on SKI-3 rubber. It was shown that introducing the organic fraction of oil sludge into the elastomer composition increases the Mooney viscosity of rubber mixtures by 9.09%, while the time to reach the maximum vulcanization rate for rubber seals of water traps is reduced to 3 minutes and 9 seconds, making the tested mixture superior to the reference one. The use of a secondary product, such as the organic fraction of oil sludge, in elastomer compositions helps reduce production costs while maintaining essential performance characteristics.

Every year, the problem of environmental pollution from metallurgical waste is gaining momentum. In particular, these are metallurgical wastes containing residual metals. However, with the help of innovative methods of processing lead-containing slags, they can be turned into valuable resources with minimal impact on the environment. This article discusses the importance of recycling lead-containing slag and describes various methods of recycling. The scientific novelty of the article is to analyze the influence of the content of toxic metals, such as lead, chromium, zinc, and copper, in the products obtained after roasting around the waste storage. The results of the optimization of experimental data allowed to specify the composition of the mixture temperature of the process of ignition of residual and corrosion-protective metals chromium and nickel, with the indicators of dependencies in the three-dimensional model. The results of the mathematical planning of the processing of waste slag and galvanic sludge showed that the recovery of lead reached 93-95%, chromium-94-96% nickel-93%, and copper-90%. The obtained product is identified as a composite material by its elemental composition and microstructure. In the general structure of the surface, firing products are characterized by the presence of the aluminosilicate minerals melilite, merwinite, and ockermanite, as well as calcium monosilicates, in the form of irregular forms of light gray lamellar crystals.

The purpose of the research is to identify the features of development of a pattern of green infrastructure of megapolises as a basis of sustainable development. The advancement algorithm of green infrastructure of megapolises is implemented for the first time and it is a scientific novelty. The structural features of green infrastructure, namely the division of surface elements into central and peripheral cores, and the division of linear elements into natural and natural–artificial corridors are highlighted by means of an example of Shymkent city, (Republic of Kazakhstan). Their maps were made taking into account the territorial and industrialized structure. Proposals were made to improve the functioning of the green infrastructure of Shymkent city, promoting sustainable development and creating a population-friendly environment. The analysis of green infrastructure and the impact of socio-economic and demographic infrastructure on the environment was carried out on the advancement of the green infrastructure of megapolises; the main methodological principles were determined. The statistical, cartographic, analytical, comparative and empirical methods were used in this research. The work was carried out using the following software: CorelDraw X4, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, 2Gis 3.16, Adobe Photoshop.
